My Mental Breakdown: A Musical is a story of a young man who is unable to express his emotions and dark feelings because ‘men don’t cry’. He is forced to suck it up and live with it, causing him to isolate himself from loved ones. Sometimes when you’re alone with only your thoughts as company, they are not your best friends.
The young man struggles to express his feelings verbally, but uses music as an outlet for his thoughts, leading to a dark, emotional score delving deep into the psyche of a mentally ill youth.
